Red 9’2″ Inflatable SUP

Just purchased this 9’2″ Red inflatable SUP.  Bought it mainly for travel. It fits in its own backpack bag that can be checked in as standard luggage.  Tried it out this morning and it works great. Has two metal strips on rails to give 40% more stability.  Easy to pump up too!

I received permission from FSU for a one-time use of one of their trademarked logos for a surfboard. I had Victim Boardart in St Pete do the artwork from a photo supplied to me by FSU. Then, Nick Cooper at The Craft in San Luis Obispo shaped and glassed the board. It is 6’3″ x 20 1/2″ x 2 5/16″.

Starboard Astro Touring Inflatable

Just added a 14 foot inflatable to my quiver.  Bought it primarily to use on the lake and for pier-to-pier treks.  The Touring 14’0″x30″ is simply fast & has more glide and stability.  All of Starboard’s Touring boards use super-stiff 6″ drop-stitch materials. Race Cone, designed for better rigidity, shape precision and strength, is the fighter plane inspired cone built into the critical nose section of all Astro Racers and Touring boards. Screen Shot 2014-08-28 at 5.24.18 PM

8’6″ Cannibal

On my last trip to Florida, I bought an 8’6″ x 30″ Corvac (locally manufactured in Melbourne, Florida by A.J. Fin).  Cannibal SUP board and a carbon-fiber paddle at the Paddleboard House in Indialantic.  It has the 5 fin set up.  It is a fantastic board, very maneuverable  and super light.  Thanks Dave for recommending it.

Starboard K15

K15

Added to my quiver with a 15 foot Starboard K15.  Will use this one for long distance runs including around Bass Lake.  Cooper may also enjoy being a passenger on the one we nick named “The Queen Mary”.  It performed great on the recent Pier (Avila) to Pier (Pismo) race.
